Since it was founded in 1987, KLUG Fertigungstechnik has been characterised by constant growth. A steadily rising turnover shows proof as well as the growing number of staff, larger premises and increasing expertise.

1987 // Company founding

Manfred Klug begins metalworking in his own mechanics workshop of only 60 m ² in Alzenau-Wasserlos.

2001 // A new generation

His son Christian Klug becomes the new owner of the business "Mech.Werkstatt KLUG".

2002 // Move to Karlstein am Main

Thanks to consistently impressive output, the customer base and product range can be steadily widened. Because of the increasing demands arising and the expansion of the machinery facilities, the company moves to larger premises of 300 m ² in Karlstein am Main.

2007 // Company relocation to Stockstadt am Main

With a further positive business development it makes sense to invest in own premises. Since the Mech.Werkstatt KLUG has moved to Stockstadt am Main nearby Aschaffenburg in April 2007 the company has been operating on a favorable site with a total of 2500 m ² floor space.

2009 // Expansion of the business activities

For special tasks wire-cut EDM technology is included in the range of services with the purchase of a FANUC Robocut in January 2009.

2010, January // A new corporate identity

"Mech. Werkstatt KLUG" becomes "KLUG Fertigungstechnik" and appears with a new corporate design.
